Natkhat offers a full range of preschool programs for ages 1.5 to 6 years, each designed for that age’s needs:
Our tiniest explorers get a gentle introduction to group time. Activities focus on basic motor skills (walking, climbing), play-based language (nursery rhymes and ball games), and socialization. Moms (or dads) often stay close by for comfort.
We build on early skills with circle time songs, finger-painting, and simple stories. Kids learn letters, numbers and shapes through fun activities like sand tracing and puppet plays. Confidence grows in our safe environment as children enjoy organized play and snack time with friends.
These years are about curiosity and readiness. We introduce structured pre-reading and pre-writing exercises (colourful writing books and storytelling) while emphasizing play. Counting games, nature walks, and basic science experiments (like growing seeds) make learning lively. Our curriculum is aligned to prepare children for formal school, but we never lose the joy: days end with group dance or music class, and free play to burn energy.
For the oldest Natkhats, we focus on sharpening skills. Early math concepts (addition by counting blocks), phonics, vocabulary, and even basic environmental awareness (“turning off lights saves energy”) are taught through projects. Yet each day still includes creative art, storytelling, and outdoor play – because even the big kids learn best when they’re having fun.
All programs include nutritious snacks, rest time (with soft mats and lullaby music), and fun specials like outdoor gardening or cultural crafts. We adapt to your family’s language preference as well, blending English instruction with our local language so children become bilingual naturally.
